When I’m not working you’ll find me at a museum, dancing, or supporting local businesses a.k.a. meandering around town. I am genderfluid and use they/them pronouns. I believe diversity strengthens every environment—whether in nature, culture, or sustainability efforts.

Upper Cape Cod Technical High School
I attended a vocational high school and graduated at the top of my cosmetology class in 2010. During my training, I faced health challenges that led me to investigate ingredient chemistry.
What I uncovered went beyond personal health—I also discovered the beauty industry’s significant impact on the environment. From that moment, I made it my mission to understand how we, as an industry and as a society, can care for both people and the planet.

At a time when information was hard to find, my curiosity led me to college. I earned a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology with a minor in Middle East Studies in 2018.
With the guidance of my advisers, I curated my coursework to lay the foundation for Green Grotto®. My studies spanned archeology, chemistry in everyday life, environmentalism, arts for advocacy, communication, culture and consciousness, evolutionary nutrition, and so much more.

Green Grotto® began in 2015 with a simple belief: timeless beauty comes from a balanced body, mind, and spirit. For 8 years, it existed as a single-chair salon offering sustainable beauty services. Today, I focus on providing energetic support for my community as well as helping artists and small business owners ethically market their products & services.
Alongside my personal experience, I studied business communication, principles of management, and more during my undergraduate years.

I’m a generational psychic medium who works with the energies of the land, drawing inspiration from animist traditions of the Americas and North Asian Shamanism. Honoring my heritage, I follow Celtic Reconstructionism (a modern Pagan path) as my core spiritual tradition.
My healing practice is shaped by wisdom shared by spiritual leaders across cultures. While I walk a specific path, my work is not bound to any one tradition. I hold deep respect for the diverse ways people connect to Spirit, especially those rooted in their own cultural experiences. I seek out universal truths that can support healing, growth, and connection for all.

Meet the “Weird” Kid Mixing Potions, Tracking Animals, and Identifying Rocks Outside
Raised by military parents on Cape Cod, I spent my days between the base, the beach, and my mom’s hair salon. After her tour in Operation Iraqi Freedom, I saw the salon as a place of solace—where she found comfort, connection, and care. That’s when I decided to help other people heal through the beauty industry, blending the nurturing power of rituals with a deeper awareness of our impact in the world.
My work through Green Grotto® is a warm invitation to connect with the “weird” kid in each of us. May it bring us more peace in times of change.
Creating a Meaningful Life with a Body in Overdrive
While in my 20’s I was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) and a rare neurological condition called Visual Snow Syndrome (VSS) which drastically impacted my career plans. As someone who truly lives for work, I entered a deep depression that lasted years after diagnosis.
If your health is also forcing you to make big changes, you’re not alone. The services and resources here come from overcoming my own challenges. I’m not going to sell you some miracle cure like other people in the beauty and wellness industry, but I can promise to walk with you through the process of aligning your life with your values and needs.
